2nd Annual G.O.A.T.z Trail Runs and G.O.A.T.z 50k
October 27, 2013 - 8:00 a.m. - Glenn Cunningham Lake, Omaha, NE
Omaha's first ultramarathon is back for a second year.
We had so much fun bringing you Omaha’s first ultra in 2012, we decided to do it again.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2nd Annual G.O.A.T.z Trail Runs on Sunday. Your race results are available here
A number of photographers were also on hand. See if you can find yourself in their photos:
Registration for the 2nd annual G.O.A.T.z Trail Runs now closed.
Cunningham Lake, with its network of single-track, equestrian, and grass trails will offers an easy to moderate course which consists of three 10.5(ish) mile loops of the 1400 acre park with the majority run on single-track and equestrian trails.
Please direct questions regarding the races or runner s.w.a.g. to email@example.com
In 2012, you ran the lake clockwise. In 2013, you’ll get the chance to run in reverse. We don’t want you to get bored. Map below
The 10.5 mile loop will have fully manned aid stations at the start/finish area and at midway point. There will also be unmanned water/sport drink stops every 2-3 miles to fill those empty bottles. As part of our commitment to being as 'green' as possible, our unmanned water stops will be cupless. No bottle, no drinky! Hydration devices are not required, but they are highly recommended. 1 mile on the trail may feel considerdably longer than 1 mile on the road. Anyone running without a bottle or hydration pack will find themselves running for greater than 5 miles without water. Dehydration is a real possibility, even in cooler weather. Please don't take that chance and bring a bottle.
The G.O.A.T.z Trail Runs will take place rain, snow, or shine. We are unable to provide refunds once you've registered. For further clarification, you may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
